Where Does the Kids’ Cup Money Go?

This school year, $45,360 is available for projects in the areas below thanks to the Kids’ Cup.

The 28% School Project will be used for outdoor classroom and school yard improvements.

Asked about the difference this money makes, our principal gave many examples, including:

Thanks to the Kids’ Cup, we have a very dynamic band program. As early as Grade 4, our students learn to play the saxophone, clarinet, or the tuba, for example. Because of the dedication and initiative of our music teacher, Mrs. Summerlin, our students get the opportunity to play at concerts and Musicfest, where they rank very highly. Many of our students go on to take music as an option in high school because of the music training they have received at St. Lambert Elementary.”
